In Sanskrit the term for ghee is 'Ghrita,' which also means illumination. By offering our illumination into Her illumination, we create a great illumination whose presence is known throughout the three worlds.
Anyone who would like to provide ghee for the homa or money for the ghee, will be blessed with illumination and increase in clarity and focus.
Shree Maa has become very fond of offering ghee in the Chandi Homa. We are using about 22 pounds of ghee per week, which is made from 30 pounds of unsalted butter at $2 per pound from the wholesale market.
