Navaratri Starts June 26th. The Nine Day celebration of Divine Mother for the month of Ashadh begins on June 26th. This is called the Vipattarini Vrat, the Vow of Worship for the Goddess who Removes all Obstacles and Difficulties. In the Devi Mandir we will observe Her worship with a nine day fast with fruits and dairy, and the complete Cosmic Puja and Chandi Homa performed daily. Every evening we are reciting different scriptures at the homa fire, including Bhagavad Gita, Devi Gita, Lalita Trishati, and many of the books of a thousand names for each of the deities. If any of you are perplexed by difficulties or obstacles of any kind: health issues, legal issues, relationships, financial, we advise that you worship the Divine Mother with pure devotion.
