Chamunda moves in the present circumstance in perfect harmony and balance and thus takes away Anger and Passion.

In the burning, blazing, shining divine fire of the Great Yagya, Chamunda, along with all of the other Divine Mothers, has made the forces of unity victorious and continues to purify us as the divine fire still burns and we move into a new creation of the universe.

Sandhi Puja begins at 2:13 PM and ends at 3:01 PM PST on Saturday, September 30, 2006.

The Sandhi Puja is the worship of the Goddess Chamunda, who takes away Anger and Passion. The last 24 minutes of Ashthami, the eighth day, and the first 24 minutes of Navami, the ninth day - these 48 minutes comprise the Sandhi.
