Shree Maa has become very fond of offering ghee in the Chandi Homa. In Sanskrit the term for ghee is 'Ghrita,' which also means illumination. By offering our illumination into Her illumination, we create a great illumination whose presence is known throughout the three worlds.

Bhog

Bhog is offering of various articles of food to Divine Mother as part of our daily worship. The daily offering of Bhog at Devi Mandir usually consists of kitchuri (rice cooked with dal), laabra (5 types of vegetables), chutney, rice pudding and other sweets, and paapads.  You can offer Bhog to the Divine Mother by donating $108 for the prasad for each day's worship.

Chandi Homa

For a thousand days the sacred fire is alight in Devi Mandir accompanied by the recitation of Chandi Path and various other scriptures. Offerings at the Chandi Homa consist of wood, rice, barley, honey, ghee, sugar, sesame seeds, yogurt, milk and pure devotion. You can participate in the blessings of the Divine Mother by sponsoring a Chandi Homa. Donation for one homa sponsorship is $108.

Special Puja

Every single day the Cosmic Puja is conducted at Devi Mandir. Cosmic Puja is the meditation or worship on the Universal Divinity, the Infinite, beyond the realms of sensory knowledge, or all the forms of the divinity of existence.You can sponsor Cosmic Puja and give birth to the merit of becoming aware of the presence of God in your own life. Alternatively, or in addition to, you can sponsor a special puja for a specific deity (example, Ganesh, Hanuman, Durga).
