1)Fast (or reduce your intake of food) for the day

2)Chant the Siva Sahasranama
Mondays are Siva's days.
Remember the story: Ganga was to come down to Earth, but with Her strength, She would have ripped right through it.
Siva made Ganga's descent to the earth possible by having Her flow down his matted hair and trickle down to the earth.
3)Chant mantra for the Moon
